On the webinar you can see how Carlos goes over signals when they come out in live time.  Talk about an excellent way to learn how to trade the signals!  Plus, Tom chimes in with words of wisdom from a trader who has been there and back again.  (I’ve been in the service for months and I still attend every Tuesday just for these words of wisdom from Tom).

Since the new EA is just coming out, I’m sure this is going to be a topic of discussion.  If you are looking to use the EA to trade the signals on autopilot… you are not going to want to miss this.  Remember, this is the same webinar for the MEMBERS… so you get to see and hear exactly what we do. This is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.

    Hey Chrissi,

The EA is available. They had a webinar yesterday especially about the settings and set up. (I haven’t set it up yet because I’m getting ready to go on vacation and have been distracted). But I could tell some things about the EA from the webinar.

Here are some things to keep in mind about the EA…

The EA only works with certain brokers. Part of this is because your broker needs to allow you to scale out of a trade, because that is what the EA does. Part of this is because the EA doesn’t seem to work with brokers using Boston Technologies. So, a lot of people are still figuring out what broker to use.

Carlos is coming up with a list of preferred brokers. (This was part of what the webinar was all about). And I learned that they are in the process of opening their own brokerage firm that would be perfect for the EA… which is about a month away.

I haven’t had a chance to go over this on the blog yet… but MONEY MANAGEMENT is key. You need to figure out how many currencies you can trade at once. This depends on your account size, how many lots you want to trade and what your risk tolerance is. This is very important and something people often forget about.

You are probably going to want to use a Virtual Private Server to run the EA so you don’t have to keep your computer on all day and night. Carlos recommends Commercial Network Services, and says he is coming up with another recommendation as well.

(This is why I haven’t set it up yet. Getting ready for my trip I don’t have the time to set up the VPS, broker and settings and am going to wait and set it up after the trip. I’m in this service for the long haul, so I’m in no hurry.)

Everyone whats definitive answers about the EA. But unfortunately, they just will not be available. Everyone will trade different pairs. They will trade a different number of pairs. Their lot size will be different. The settings they use will be different. Therefore, the best thing to do is set it up on one of the recommended broker’s DEMO account and test it out. (Backtesting is not available with this EA because it is too complex).

    I can say this though…

The EA is based on trading the signals, and trading them like you would if your were trading them manually. That means it filters out trades if price is too close to a support or resistance, scales out part of the position at certain price targets, closes part of the position if price does not surpass the Market Exhaustion by a certain time, and sets a trailing stop to let profits run after a certain target is hit.

This is the closest you are going to find to programming yourself into a computer and having it trade just like you would. Pretty amazing.

As far as closing down or raising the price, I have not heard anything definite yet. They have been saying though that they may close down or raise the prices soon… so keep that in mind.

    Hope this helps.

Is forex.com uk preferred? I’m thinking about trading all pairs the 497 package offers. I will be trading 0.01 on a 2000-3000 dollar account size. No demo results for this week?

  4. Edward Lomax says:

I’m not sure what the preferred brokers are… Carlos is working on a list to give to us.

Like I said earlier, I haven’t set it up so I don’t know want the results for this week are. I’m not planning on setting it up until DEC. when I get back from vacation.

  5. Chrissi says:

Thanks Edward! I did not know if anyone that joined Strignano had demo results.
